A pedestrian unfriendly area

I work somewhere within Fort Bonifacio Global City (http://www.fbglobalcity.com/comprofile.html). It is an area being developed right now, somewhere here in Metro Manila. It's such a large place. It used to be military fortress. Now there are a lot of businesses and retaurants here.

My workplace is near Market! Market! (a mall which will be open by next month) and the problem right now is that there are roads which are closed. The jeepney drivers choose where they will pass by. Although I tell the driver as soon as I get on the jeep where I want to go but still - they end not passing by it! This week it has been terrible for me. I've been walking around here, where there are not much pedestrian crossings and sidewalks. So early in the morning! Aaargh! And in my office uniform too. Those were the mornings that I just wanted to go home and sleep. I wish that there would be more pedestrian crossings and sidewalks here.
